Someone please, someone please shoot. The gun is right there, save me, there's so much blood. there's so much. SHOOT THE DAMN GUN! The gun in my hands, the gun at my chest. I am nothing but a tool. I am nothing but a fool. i bring destruction to all those around. Ren! "Ren!" why did he turn away? Her voice, why wasn't it making any sound. Her legs couldn't move. She was stuck in place. Why was she trapped? What was this all? She just couldn't get out of this place. There was a thousand walls, there was a thousand doors. There was blood filling the ground. She wasn't entirely sure what it was made of anymore. please, please, please, someone free her from this hell.
She sat up in her bed, a scream leaving her. She was shaking and her eyes darting around the room as she tried to figure everything out. She wrapped her arms around herself, reaching for her personas. The fear of starting another palace. The comfort of them responding to her, gave her enough to get out of bed. She needed to piece things together a little more as she wandered the apartment. Goro was out. That much was apparent. She would bet Ren was out too.
She couldn't even finish pouring her coffee before she went down to her knees on the kitchen floor and cried. Something felt wrong. Every tear a reminder of what she felt. Every second the worst feeling. She had let everyone down. You will not last long like this, my dear.
She decided to pull herself up. She needed to listen to that voice. She couldn't cause herself to have a palace, no she didn't want people to see her secrets. She couldn't handle that. They would all leave her for the twisted things she did. She needed to keep the mask on. There was things she didn't even want those closest to her to know. She was going to hide all that away for later. She had things to do, and one of them was to get her mind off this.
Option one: Come up for air and choke on it all
Futaba took her bag to the store, she needed to get her head back together. Things for dinner was a good start. She had a list of things that Ren used to cook. She was methodically going through the shelves and making sure everything was the exact thing he had gotten, because he obviously knew what was best.
The air outside was a nice breath of fresh air and she felt slightly better, there was still something nagging at her. She couldn't put her finger on it, but she could go out and get some tea to see if that handled it. She was just going to head to the shop nearby. It'll be okay, just focus.
She didn't mind the small voice in her head, even if it didn't sound familiar. She was used to her personas speaking up when she was stressed. Ren was back, Goro was here, things were fine, so why did she have this feeling of she needed to run.
Option two: I've got a ghost in the hallway grinning
Futaba was throwing knives at some tree, it was obviously used for this a lot, it showed some signs of healing. She was deep in thought. Each knife hitting perfectly where she was aiming. Her hair was laying out, not pulled up like normal. She was almost certain that there was nothing else that had mattered in the world, nothing else that should have brought her this level of panic. She was just making these knives hit the dot on the tree, one after another, perfectly spaced out.
She went to grab the knives and try again from further back, it was too easy for her to be in her head. She couldn't help but throw one a bit too hard into the wood, it was going to be stuck for a while, but she still had pretty good aim, even as she started wobbling. She couldn't fall down again, but her eyes didn't have a spec of life in them, it would be easy to mistake her for a cognition.
She took a breath finally wanting to come out of it, but the real world felt too loud, too much. That's it just relax. She still couldn't tell what that voice was, but it brought her comfort. She did however notice that there was a lack of call from one hers. That would be something she would have to deal with later. She was fairily certain that it wasn't a palace anymore.
Still her eyes glazed over as she threw another dart that stuck once again. She took a breath to center herself before throwing another. It at least, didn't stick as hard in. If someone wanted her attention now was the time to get it, it seemed the haze had lifted for a moment.
Option three: I don't know why you love me I'm a danger
She was down in mementos, it seemed she was just wandering without a point of direction. It was different than last time. She felt strong enough to take anything, even the reaper, herself. She was taking down shadow after shadow, using a persona she hadn't shown off before. It wasn't one she was very familiar with either. It had tentacles down to her, it was a much smaller persona than her Necronomicon. There was glittering stars as it reached down to hold onto her. It seemed to be supporting her but no one could tell if it was a good thing or bad. She wouldn't even try to dodge the attacks sent her way if she hadn't killed the shadow, her shoulder was bleeding, there was an obvious limp as she swayed one way or another.
She didn't know where she was heading, it was taking a lot for her to snap out of this, there was a voice she needed to follow. There was something about her that felt off. On closer look she was covered in bruises, and her outfit was torn in several more places. Her eyes were glazed over. It seemed like she was speaking to someone, or something, but the only thing in sight was her persona and the shadows she was decimating.
Information: What if the diamond days are all gone? (Locked to Sunflowren and Frog)
There is a text from Futaba's brother, she was acting strange, taking trips to mementos a lot, but she isn't coming back unharmed, but she acts like she is.
Option four: nice try, no dice
You can also see her wandering around the city, seeming to be too happy, it was not the same as an actualization. There was something off about it though. It felt like the detective prince if anyone approaching her had experience with that side of their Goro.
